Overview

Our Mission

Action to End Exploitation is a Canadian-based non-profit organization working in the field of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Our mission is to improve the lives of women and children who have been exploited, or who represent a high risk for exploitation by the commercial sex industry. We are a non-religious, non-partisan organization focused on empowering women, supporting development, and improving the lives of those victimized by the commercial sex industry.

Our View of Sexual Exploitation

We view the commercial and sexual exploitation of children and minors as a gross affront to basic human rights and dignity. We accept no cultural, religious, or socioeconomic rationalizations which seek to justify the existence of these most unjust forms of abuse.

Our Tactics

Although our goal is to seek the end of sexual and commercial exploitation, we do not foresee this as an easily achievable task. As a necessity of reality, we accept that evil will transpire, but we will continue to fight it wherever we can. Our programs are categorized as preventative, harm-reductive, or rehabilitative in nature, and are designed to address the root issues that allow the exploitation of women and children to continue.

A key mandate of our organization is to facilitate cooperation between various NGOs so that we may combine our knowledge and optimize the resources that are available to us.
